Elka springs on works shocks?

Anyone ever change there front shock springs to Elka? I picked up a pair of Pro series with ZPS and have a spare set of Elka springs laying in the garage. I checked the inside diameter of the Elka and they are a wee bit bigger than the Works. They have side to side play. I am not sure if thats ok or not they seem to still seat but are a tad bigger than the lower retainer plate and spring spacers. Just wondering if they will be ok. Thanks.

Not positive if the fronts will work but I have elka ssd springs on my rear works shock to match my elka econo's. I never noticed any play in the springs though. You may be able to use elka retainer plate and spacers. Quadshop did mine so they may be able to answer that for you. C&D might know as well.
