300EX handle bar setup's

Lets see your 300ex handle bar setups. What I am looking for is the stock bars, stock bar cover but I want to see what it would look like with the sides cut off it just leaving the ignition holder and bar clamp cover piece.

Just wondering if anyone has done this before and what it looks like. I would like some close pics of it too get an idea what it looks like I thought of doing this.

just take it off and make a key holder

I had it off but I didn't like the look of it. It looked empty and messy. I thought about getting a 87 250x ignition bar clamp cover.

That'll work well as long as you run bars without a crossbar. I had the 250x holder and had to make my own out of aluminum because there wasn't enough clearance to get the key in and out easily. Here's a pic of my homemade holder...not the best but it does the trick.

i took mine off and the starter/lights and rigged the starter by itself and electrical taped the ignition to the right side of the frame next to the fender...IMO it looks a helluva lot better without that plastic
