300ft drag times

just wondering what and if any has ran any 300 ft times just wanted to see what kind of avg. is out there

I have never done it but in april at the planetsand race in gilbert, la, there was one on an orange drag frame w/ no plastics burning nitro methane running 4.3

fully trail ready , I have run a best of 5.62 @ 58.78 with a real crappy 2.07 60 ft on the stock dunlops , I slow .10 and 3 mph :eek2: if I keep on the raz2 and beadlocks.I don't "strap" down my quad and all runs where made with stock gearing taking off in 1st. I hate to say that I sand bag , but I usally dial in at 5.70 so I can stay in the trail class here (5.69 is the cutoff for trail calss, anything faster you have to be in the "fast" class)

i ran a 5.4 and change with a reaction time of .534 dont know what the 60ft time was but that was with a full system lrd pipe and the hrc kit and didnt strap it down, my buddy ran a 5.2 his yfz450 but he had it strapped down in the rear and he took his front shocks off and just put some metal struts in there and man he was just getting a launch off the line. so im gonna do that for the ice drags
