uni-filter any problems

Has anybody ever had any trouble mounting a uni-filter...I just purchased one and it doesnt seem to fit right....it doesnt seal and wants to slip off as you tighten the clamp.

I have no problems with mine, I just screw the clamp down and it holds securely. Got the right one?

What the problem is, your air box ring is bas. The hole has gotten smaller. This happens sometimes frome people not putting the suppore ring inside the filter and ro not putting the filter al the way inside the hole. The cure for this is a new air box.

This can also happen if you just try to screw the filter on too tight. You should just tighten it up until it is snug and you should be fine. You can try pulling it off with your hand to make sure it's on there tight enough.
