Ebay carbon hood for 400ex

I got this hood off ebay for $70 shipped. I was sketchy on what the quality would be, but for the price I figured I would try. It arrived very well packed and it has some MINOR flaws in the clear, I refinish cars for a living and have seen worse clear jobs on factory cars, nothing that would be noticeable unless you were trying to find them. Anyhow install was easy a little under an hour and it has mounting holes already drilled so I used some stainless screws with nylock nuts. Lined up and follows the lines of the quad almost perfect. IMO the hardsest part was relocating the ignition switch. I will have to do without a neutral light, never payed attention to it when it was hooked up. All in all the product was well above wahat I expected in fit and finish. Here are some pics of it installed.

Looks Sweet. Where did you get that seat cover at? It looks great on that quad.

I got that same hood. I think I gave about $60 for mine. I also even seen a few guys get them for around $30 (must have gotten lucky?). Quad looks good!

looks like my old quad but yellow. Uhh put ur ignition down on the frame by your right leg. thats what i did. u can mount it up there by the plastic mount i think.

where did u get steel braided break lines for ur extra oil cooler. that looks real slick wouldnt mind doing it to mine

Mounted it on the left side plastic you can see it in the pic.

i have got two carbon fiber hoods but they are for the 450r dont know if they will fit the 400 but i have one of them for sale
