to be able to fit my 05 400ex inside a truck im not sure what to do. would i be able to remove or fold down the handlebars or would it be easier to remove the wheels? thanks

ive seen quads in a few suv's
some had the bars laid down, others had the bars down and let the air out of the tires.

got any advice on removing/folding down the handlebars? im sure once i look at it ill find out how, but if anyone wants to help... hehe

Loosen your handle bar clamps untill your bars move freely. and thats it..hah if you have your stock handle bar plastic on its under that. :)

letting the air out of the tires sounds like a good idea also. just get a stem removing and take it out of the vavle. then pump them back up after you take it out.

when i put my 400ex in my minivan (99 windstar) all i had to do is fold down the bars

my 400ex and kfx400 can fit into the back of a gmc safari very easily. no folding or anything (kfx BARELY cleared the overhead light, but still did it)
a warrior350 can fit into the back of a chevy tahoe if you collapse the handle bars and take off all the wheels (quad rests on wheels, hubs or rotors dont hit the ground)
