ok, i was cleaning off my quad today, and as usual notice my handebars are bent (actually they've been bent for about 2 months from rolling it quite a few times). my dad said once their bent, that they never are as strong as they once were. but should i look for a good set that doesnt cost too much, or try and bend the stock ones back to normal? if so, which handlebars should i look for.

Pick up a set of MSR dominators. Great bars stong and cheap! come in tons of different bends as well. :)

For a standard clamp I would get the renthals and for a big bar clamp I would get the T2. JMO

Renthals are killer.... Im convinced that they are nearly unbreakable!

This man is right on the money, in my opinion. Yes, your Dad is right, they will never be the same after they are bent. Thomkat

id buy the cheap 20 dallor bars. Let those bars bend as much as they want. There alot cheaper than stems and alot easier to replace . just my opinion

if your buying fat bars, get tag t2s for sure, i smacked a tree recently and bent the stem downward, but the bars were fine, just a lil gashed

but id say renthals for normal size

Pro Taper 7/8s seem to be the cheapest standard bar that I know is good. $65 bucks outta the shop here for any bend compared to $90 for standard Renthals. And with the Pro-Tapers on my warrior, I rolled it about 5 times and bent the steering stem to hell, but the bars didnt bend an inch.

I bent the cr-hi bend bars on my atc250r(not bent all bad, barely noticable)
, after almost 2 years, 1 hard crash, 3 times rolling it, a few hard landings from jumps, the bars outlived a frame, two motors and one axle and two sets of forks, I'm pretty impressed(and I removed the cross bar that goes between the bars). And no, only the frame and axle were about beyond repair. I rebuilt the other stuff.
