They are not fangs they are teeth. They grab ahold of there prey and wrapp around it and every time it exhails it gets tighter until it is dead. The teeth are pointed backwards so the prey can slide in and not got caught on its teeth making it not difficult.

I had a 13 ft. python once.... but he seems small next to that thing!!!:eek:

That first snake is from Africa. My brother works for an Engineering company located in TX, and is currently working on a project in Angola, Africa. That is where that picture was taken from. The company's compounds. He nearly **** in his pants when he saw that. The company failed to mention the huge snakes out there, and he was worried about diseases. Needless to say, he renegotiated his pay.

that first snake is insane....... ive seen it on here before.... in a thread called rattlesnake any1........ anyways like posted before thats a mighty long tail for a deer.... is it possibly a huge yellow lab, or did u go steal some kangaroos from the zoo cus that tail is to dam long for a deer

That's an African Rock Python, snakes actually make pretty cool pets and you won't ever get bit if you know how to treat them and don't mess with them when their cranky, kind of like women I guess, snakes are fine, women are evil.:p

check this out:
A Belgian chopper pilot called Remy Van Lierde took the photo (pictured left) during a patrol over the Republic of Congo in 1959. The snake he witnessed has been estimated to be anywhere from around 40-50 feet long. It was possible to estimate the size of the snake because of the many features on the ground in the images taken.
It was described by the pilot as a dark shade of brown and green with a white coloured belly. The jaws were of triangular shape. The pilot claimed the head was a massive 3 feet wide adding that as he cautiously moved in lower for a closer inspection the snake raised itself in the air as high as maybe 10 feet, looking like it may attack the helicopter.

After much expert analysis the images taken of this 'Giant Congo Snake' were deemed to be genuine

Yeah I guess thats the quality of pics they had in 1959. Has anyone ever watched the Jeff corwin experiance?? He goes to brazil to find a Anaconda. He roles a snake skin down the side of the boat that is 30+ feet long. INSANE. Then he see this huge anaconda in the water so he jumps in after it and starts to wrestle it. Man he would kick the ***** outta the ***** @ss crock hunter any day!!

There is a Brazilian dude that does that a lot. He walks around in knee deep water barefooted so he can feel them!

I used to feel that way and pretty much any venomous or wild one I would come across I wouldn't touch, but I like the python I have, he's a pretty chilled out dude. :p
