Quad Question

So a friend of me is looking to buy a quad and wants to buy one of those from pepboys. like this one

I know there not the greatest, but all he will be using it for is riding his kids around the yard and the occasional trip into the woods. No jumps or major hill climbs. Should I talk him out of it if so why.

I am sure he is wanting to save a little money, but I would tell him to just look for a used Honda utility instead of that one. That way he knows he has reliability. That quad doesn't even have a name on it, who knows what quality it is and how much the parts are, or how often you wil be replacing them. But really a Honda ut will last forever if maintained and you know about the parts.

I agree with Duke416ex, go with the Honda. Keep the oil changed and clean the air filter. It will last forever.;)

i also agree with duke because i have a honda foreman and you cant beat them!

I suggest a trx300 4x4 they are TANKS! my dads is a beast and has never really had any problems other then normal wear and tear! :)

my mom had one for 1-2 years...never needed anything
