Just wondering what cam i should get for my 400ex, it's a 2002 has white brothers exhaust and has been jetted?

to save some money I would get either a hot cam stg 1or 2 or a magnum cam which is a copy of the web and is a drop in cam.

Stage 1 Hotcam for low end torque or a stage 2 for high RPM power.

Sorry to hijack your thread, but I've read other threads where people have posted it's not really worth putting a cam in if you don't have a high comp piston. Is this true?

you will see some results with a cam alone but if you want to benefit more do a piston and cam at the same time.
