I was wondering if you get a lt front end set up, do you also need the rear end to be long travel? Can you tell that the rear is standard? Also, would i be better off getting nicer shocks and arms standard travel instead of spending the extra money on long travel? Thanks for the replies.

Getting a long travel front end doesnt mean that the rear also has to be long travel you would just like to have a rear shock set-up to match the front end to were they work together. Depending on what kind of riding you do is to what kind of arm shock combination i would reccommend also what kind of bike.

the 450r does have a shorter shaft travel in the rear so i would reccommend doin at least a rear shock with a link but goin with a full swingarm/link long travel set-up is not necessary but it is nice.
