Dont tell me to search, i havent found the answer im lookin for. What pipe would you get and why. Price is a factor to, nothing over 375

Also, i know the Sparks comes in diff. styles. What if my motor wasnt worked when i had the pipe. Should i get the X6 right away or what?

I have a t-4 shorty slip on that was awsome on my 300ex. I only want 100 shipped if you don't have a stock header i'll give you that and another header I have thats aftermarket for 120 shipped. :)

2 best pipes for a 300ex are the Sparks X-4 and the TC Shorty.

I run the Sparks X-4 w/ turndown on my 330ex. Craftsmanship is amazing. I would reccomend the stainless version. I got the old ceramic coated. It rusts to easily in muddy conditions. Doesn't really matter to me. I have an aluminum heatshield over it and my legs hide it, so its not a big deal. But some people like their atv's to be spotless.

I ride the crap out of mine, so it's never gonna be spotless.. lol. There's always something bent or scratched on it. My frame is slightly tweaked form when I was racing at Nasty Creek in the Missouri Hare Scramble series. Nailed a small stump in the trail at about 50mph. Tossed me to one side jsut enough to clip a tree. Bent the tie rod and threw me and the quad through the air. My 300 was wedged between 2 trees 5 ft in the air, lol. Bumper to grab bar. Somehow, I didn't even get scratched.. lol. Talk about lucky.

Ok enough chatter.. lol

Sparks X-4 or a TC Shorty will be your best pipes for the 300.

Don't get the X-6, not enough velocity unless your above 350cc's. You'll loose to much bottom end torque. Most everyone with 330s, that have Sparks, run the x-4.

where can I get the Sparks pipe, and how much. And if I dont get that should I get the HMF with Wb header. B/c ive heard some bad things about TC and would rather not deal with that.

www.sparksracing.com

the X-4 is about $349. with spark arestor $399

Remember it's a full system.

HMF Sport + WB header = $230 + $140 = $370

Yea, that's the one downfall of the turndown style of the Sparks.
You can get a longer grab bar (6-pak rack). Or, you can do like I did. I actually cut the can down by 2 inche. But, I'd reccomend the spark arestor version with the divirter plates. Shorter, and you can adjust the loudness. ;)

Then HMF + header is a great combo on the 300ex. Another option if the $$$ is a big issue.. is to get just the HMF slip-on and use the stock header. And upgrade to an aftermarket header later on.

I have the sparks x4 w/ spark arrestor and disks and I like it. it doesn't stick out much at all. The power and sound are awesome:devil:

The only complaint I have had is there's no heat sheild but a picked up a 450r stock heat sheild and it helps. No more burnt pants.

My brother has a 300 and he put a Pro Circuit Pipe on it and his little 300, has enough power to pose a threat to most any bike in his class

alright. Ive narrowed it down to a used hmf on here, or maggots pipe. And do youu think these two will work with my dg header until i can get a diff. aftermarket one?
