Every time I hit a little creek or stream at a high speed and water splashes up everywhere my 300ex will stall out and will not start. I have to sit there for approx. 2 minutes to let something dry out, and then it will start right up. What am I getting wet (something electrical) that I can cover up to prevent this from happening again.

take the plastic off and get a spray bottle (like windex comes in) and fill it with water...

with the quad running, spray the electrical connetions, wiring, coil, etc.. slowly.. when the quad quits, you've found your problem...

then pack the connectors with dielectric grease, or find some other way to protect the problem area from splash.

hey you guys i have a question about my bike i have a almost brand new (2 weeks old) 300(ex)and i have the same problem but somone told me that it was because of the air intake under the tank(the hole in the frame) will suck in water and it will get into the air filter and eventually the carb so i got intersested and looked inside the tubes of the frame in the airbox there was a TON of water and mud in there could this be the problem or would it be something electrical?
