Anybody know anything about these, thinking of getting a 2000 4cyl 5sp 4x4 to drive back and forth to work, my Z71 is killing me with gas prices. Are they reliable? what kinda gas mileage do they get Thanks

I have a 1999 5spd 2.7 4cyl and it's a great truck, no problems with it what so ever. id say anywhere from 16-18mpg. it'll go as fast as you want till ya hit a big uphill :blah:

you could not ask for a better truck to get u to work and back and save on gas

change the oil ever 3k and that thing will live longer then you

i have an 02 with about 60K and it is a good truck. about 17/22 for mpg, but mine's a six cyl. i really love it. had it since new and the only things i've had to do that wasn't basic oil/service was some part in the fuel injection system and my radiator hoses. you won't be sorry :)

I had a 97 Tacoma. 4 cylinder, 5 speed, 4X4. By far the best truck I've had. If you take care of it, the truck will last forever.

4x4 1989 309,000 miles...1st engine went at about 200,000 miles, theu guy did a sheoty engine rebuild on it and got my dad untill 230,000 miles, truck was then given to me with a 4 cyl. 22re engine and I change oil and filter every 3k miles. Has been through hell and back and she runs perfect

yours must be sick, I have a 3.4 V-6 5spd 4x4 with 33" tires and I get between 16-18 mpg

I like them and they are tough as nails but they are a little pricey though.
