i jetted my 04 300 ex with a dynojet kit followed directions to a t.no air box lid the bike runs great. But the problem is it dosent idle like it used to seems like it skips a little. and also it needs the choke to start after its cold and it never did stock

Change your pilot jet to a 42, that'll make a huge difference. I was having problems just getting mine to run at idle until it would get warmed up. Now I can go out, press the starter button and it fires up the first time and idles very smooth.
