head pipe question....

i have an fmf powercore4 and im about to buy the power bomb header.. i already have it jetted to compensate for the pipe, will i need to jet again with the addition of the head pipe? i also read that it makes the pipe quieter, is this true because i like the sound where it is at

yes you will need to rejet becaus your pushing more air out wich means your buring more fuel... and no it will not make your pipe quiter it has again more are being pushed out. if anything it will make it louder:eek2: :eek2:

i was reading on c&d racing about the headpipe it said quieter, eh may have read it wrong, thanks for the reply

The Power bomb has a pre mufler chamber (strait through design but it does have steel wool style packing). I don't think it would be as loud as a hi-flow header, but still pushes more air than stock.
