how do i stop gas (fuel) from leaking out of the overflow on my 400ex when im doing wheelies etc. it pours out of the left side on to the foot rests.

is their a mod to prevent this or do i have to just live with loosing gas all over the road?

cheers regards chris:devil:

What year is your bike? If it is a 00 or older, the carb will leak gas. Put the tube between the swinger, and the engine so it isn't leaking on your feet. I'm getting a newer style carb, so it doesn't leak as much. The 01's and newer barely drip, while the 00's and older leak like crazy.

Exactly. I hate living with it, because I can go through a tank of gas in about an hour in some tight trails, where the front is always up.

yeah i know i do a lot of greenlanning (unmade public roads)
and we have a quater mile marked out on a local empty road. i can use atank and be miles from anywhere!:eek2:

have to carry a little 5litre bottle of unleaded with me:cool: everywhere!
