400ex wanted for 3 grand or less

i live in south alabama, lookin for any year 400ex (stock or modded), for 3 grand or less.. lookin for it to be kinda close no more than a 100 miles... could come and pick up most likely.. if any1 has my description post on here or send me a pm

I have a buddy with an 02 400ex with low hours and a set of works shocks w/fresh service.. He is asking $2400 But lives in Eastern Oklahoma.. I dont know how long of a drive but I think it would be worth it for that price..

thanks man if he wants 2400 for it and to ship it here how much do u think it would cost in shipping........ i have roughly around 2,700 i think so hopefully the extra 300 dollars would be enough for shipping..... if u can figure out i'd appreciate it.. oh and also any chance u have a pic of it, thanks

I dont think it would be any more than 2700 1-3 hundred would be about right.. I will try and get pics asap for you.. As far as a shipping company I will try and look.. But you might want to handle that..

alright thanks man..... i have a option on a 300ex, but i'd like a 400ex cus they have alot more room to grow into...... im just tryin to get some more options on 4 wheelers worked up, becus i want to see whats out there before i make the decision you know

but thanks though i'll look into the quad shipping deal, and tell u what i find out (if i find anything out), im still kinda lookin for somthin closer to my location though cus it would be alot easier on me and my dad, seen as he would be the one drivin me to where ever.... but i'll get back with you when i find somthin out

IMO the 400ex is the best you will find for the money.. They are excellent quads.. I have one myself and would rather have it than the 450's..

i know what u mean, the first time i ever drove one wus at a moto cross track and i wus doubtin my self on jumpin and all that but i balled up and nailed the biggest jump there and landed perfect and since then ive been tryin to get a 400 for so long... the power is not to much(450 is to much for me, well not really just more power than what i need)... but im workin hard on gettin the EX and hopefully these last few years of hard work will pay off with a nice one:D
