300ex/450r shocks

Is it possible to put 300ex shocks on my 450r , i want a lower front end for drag racing. If so is it just a simple take off 450r shocks and put on the 300ex shocks or is there other mods involved?

should work, but it will be very low.

why not just buy some struts, or some turnbuckles from the hardware store, if its on paventment dont need suspenstion, just get some turn buckles that will fit and you can adjust it.

we tried this on a buddies 450r for flattracking. he had +2 LSR aarms, and you could barely push down on the bumper and get the frame to hit the ground
