Handlebar clamps

So I replaced my handlebars on an 05 450R. The new handlebar's knurling does not match up well to the clamps on the steering stem. When I hit whoops, the Tusk handlebars just bend down. Any ideas on how to fix this problem.

TAG metals sells a clamp kit that is a touch wider and should grab into the knurls.

what bars are you having this problem with?
