Blue Smoke

Hey my friend has a 400ex and he just got an hmf slip on....wen he went to take off blue smoke came out of the pipe...does he have to re jet? :eek2:

once you put a pipe on you must rejet. blue smoke is oil, his rings might be getting bad.

did he buy the buy used? oil could be in it from the previous owner and its burning off

yup the hmf that he bought was used ..

its probably crap in the pipe from the previous owner but i would do a compression test 1st to be safe
