well, ive been planning my winter rebuild for a while now, and i want it to be something really cool and different

besides having all the coolest products on it like air shox, rekluse, pulsecharger, hipers, etc.

i was thinking about finding a way to mount 250r plastics on my 450r, along with replacing the 450r gas tank with a 250r one, do you think it could work? i know i will have to make mounts, or weld somethings, but when i saw pics of 250r and 450r frames, the top rail where the tank and plastics mount look very similiar

whats your oppinion, and what other hightech parts should i put on the rebuild list

i have wanted to do this for a while, but never really to the time, it could be possible but you would ahve tog et 250r front, rear, seat, tank, sides, top, and fab your own mounts if they would evne fit on the frame.

are you serious? they are nothing alike. the 450r frame is much taller to fit the 4 stroke motor, and the subframe on the 450r angles up, the 250r is flat. you will be wasting a lot of time and i promise you it will look retarded.

yah, i noticed the rise on the 450s frame after closer inspection, but i still think it would look cool if you mounted everything right, i guess i will have to wait and see

I have seen someone (on here i think) mount it up to see if it would work. I think thye said it could work if you make a few brackets. don't quote me and maybe try a search. Im almost positive it was on here about 8 or 9 months ago

Wasting your time and money, and it probably wont look good anyways. Why dont you put a 450r motor in a 250r chassis? I still think its a waste of time, but it would make more sense. Good Luck!
