View Full Version : NMotion exhaust???

Considering buying an NMotion for my YFZ. But have never seen one or know anything about the pipe. From what the dealer is telling me that the pipe has more grunt on the lower and mid range than the Sparks pipe (which is another pipe that I'm considering). If anyone knows or have seen anything about this pipe and give me some info it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks guys!!!:D

Sparks pipe big core. Is the pipe im running on my 450R. It has real good low to mid. and TOP!

well the nmotion is pretty much a race pipe. haha (what's not) I heard it's real loud. Has lots low-mid. MX pipe.. With either choice. you wouldnt go wrong.. Well make sure where u ride wont have issues with DB levels. checking.s

Thanks drider. I mostly ride MX so the the noise level won't be much of an issue. Don't want a pipe that's too loud though. Gotta ask the guy what the db on this pipe is b/c everynow and then I head up to ride trails in the Ocala National Forrest.

i've heard the nmotion is pretty wicked. has the lowend of the tc, but still has good mid-top, and is a little quiter. here's some pics of one.

Those are some good pics. Pipe does look wicked. As far as db levels... the guy sent me an e mail and said the pipe is 111-112dbs:eek2: . Now that's loud!!!

I heard they have one of the biggest head pipes available for the 450's. From that pic. they look pretty big.

sorry to rob the thread but that big core...what do u do to get it? like do u have to buy it llike that? or what? because i have a regular sparks and was wonddering about that big core sparks

I asked a guy the same thing and he told me that the big core pipe was for peeps w/ motor mods. Said that if you've basically just jetted, full system, and air lid removed you don't need it and it's not going to really give you anymore gains. Said that it's for the bigger more modded motor can breath better.

that NMotion looks like an HMF, same size, same shape, same length can. If the cores are alike (which I doubt because the NMotion is louder) they probably have the same power characteristics.

no its not, an Nmotion pipe is alot smaller.

NMotion pipes are VERY loud, about like a TC. I personally haven't got to ride with one out on a MX track but i can say just cruizin around, the pipe is awesome!

Big Core. Version is just a bigger core in the pipe. Less packing, more air flow. Less restriction. more noise. etc. Big Core version is usually used by racers. But there's a kit sparks sell to install into your pipe. to convert standard sparks to big core.

Hey Bro, you use to run a TC right? How do you compare the 2 exhaust? Im ditching my HMF for one of those two...thanks man..
