Go for a 400EX or keep 300 n get a 350X conversion?

idk what i want, my 300 is to slow and i really want somthin faster, i know all about 330 kits etc. idk if havin the 350X would be worth the process of doin it, lemme know what u think

If you keep the 300 frame I would make it more stable.

Don't even bother, the 400EX motor is like the same thing except the 400ex has 50 more cc's. Plus a 400EX has way better geometry!

them 350x conversions are dogs... :rolleyes: my friend made one thinking he would beat my stock z400 ..... he got smoked.

my 350x conversion has beat every stock bore z ive raced. It has high compression 425 piston, cam, port and polished head, 400ex carb,K&N and full poweroll exhaust. It is a ***** to kick though.

where the 350x conversion lacks is in suspension(you only can do so much to a 250x/300ex, in handling). Leager's used to make a frame with a 350x motor mounts and basically a 250r frame, I hear that conversion absolutlely rips and is hard to beat. Some of the pro's were still riding those coversion type 350x/250r frames untill 98-99,it can't be that bad if the pro's were using them. Probably most of them switched to a 400ex is 98 and 99(proabably mostly for the electric start)
