works shocks w/ 400ex a-arms

im going to be ordering some work shocks and i need to know how long they need to be to fit on some 400ex a-arms. Also, does anybody know where i can get a raptor rear shock.

if u have 400ex arms then u should get them for a 400ex right? and y would u want a raptor back shock? but check ebay im sure u can find 1 there.

well if you put works shocks on a 300ex with 400ex a-arms then you still have to get the shocks for the 300 but they need to be a custom length to fit the a-arms, I think. I want a raptor rear shock because i read somewhere on here that you can just bolt the raptor shock on. And since it has more travel and is better then the 300 rear shock,i thought that it would be cheaper then an aftermarket one.

also with the raptor rear u can get a mcadady rebuild so its basiclay a aftermarket shock for less then a retail shock.

o cool i didnt no that about the rap shock. and true about the arms...maybe when u call to order them tell them ur situation and they'll help u.

I will probably just tell the people that i order the shocks from what is my situation. And they should be able to tell me what size and length.
