twitch was as smooth as anyone could possibly be, plus it was over a dirt to dirt .on the biggest gap there, not as technical as pastrana but smootheer for sure...bartrams trick was difficult but i think anyone who could flip could master that in the foam pit within a matter of weeks... good to see twitch finally win

I don't think the judges knew what they were doing. Pastrana should have won IMO. Moto x was not what I expected this year. I hope it gets better as the x games continiues, so far it is not up to par with past years.

srh I would LOVE to see you try that stuff without a foam pit first, I love how people act like its no big deal, have you seen the video where a kid trys his first backflip on a kicker to dirt landing and the bike lands on him killing him instantly. Why risk their life when they can do it safety first. Not bashing or arguing at all :)

this years x-games has had a crap load of crashes so far, I do miss the old x-games where a heart attack was insane and it was all sorts of trick combos

not the world rcord, the "x-games" record which only means that x-games themselves have never built anything bigger than 90 feet ...if they did, it would get flipped....

turn down on a bicycle and a turndown on a dirt bike are different things. last time i checked dirtbike handlebars dont spin around in a 180:ermm:

I'm loving how the judges are liking the old school tricks better, pastrana didnt do many flips and went back to his wfo cornering and jumps and it worked awesome imo :)

i dont think deegan was being an ***, i think he was just playin around. when tommy hit the jump after him and cleared with no problem you could see deegan make the face like "holy crap" i think he was bein goofy, not bein an ***. hes prolly just happy hes alive after his injury:p

Actually , twitch did the 100ft back flip first , the guy who broke toe was Nate Adams but he came back put down a good run to get him to the finals.

They shoulda put bartram in 1st to atleast get Pastrana to do something his last run. A full run of flips is downright boring, and Pastrana puts on a boring show when he has it in the bag.

What did pastrana do that got him the win the first moto??? I didnt get to see it. I think Bartram shouldve won for having the only innovative trick(which was a sick sidesaddle flip) and Twitch shoulda been 2nd or 3rd for pulling insane tricks, using the whole track, and powering through the whole thing. I think he had more hits than anyone in his second moto.

twitch got screwed, i think partly because of his image and they didnt wanan put him on tv much, there trying to clean up the image of extreme sports and twitch doesnt fit it too well

x games is just a story they tell on tv, they get people dragged into the drama, no one was allowed gold because it didnt fit in with there pastrana comeback story

you know what i was wondering...if those judges were the same judges from big air? because the only thing i saw kenny had over twitch was his side saddle flip but ...twitch pulled his gold winning trick that beat out kennys side saddle flip so wtf?...kenny is a really week flipper, his whip isnt no where near as unique or stylish as twitches...twitch does alot of flip no doubt but there is always a nice combo out of it...i personally beleive one big wall ride and 1 or 2 no hander landed flip there is no way they could of denied twitch a gold medal
