What can I do to make the 250EX a true 250? I don't have any mods to my quad at all but was just wondering if there is anything that can be done.
Another stupid question but why is it that they advertise that its 250cc and its really 229cc? I know its prolly a dumb question but I was just wondering...

Thanks

Question 1: Yes, there are mods for your bike ranging from air filters, to pipes, to nerfs & bumpers. DG carries a large line of products for the 250 and Graydon does to if im not mistaken. Most mods are not cheap so dont get dug into a deep hole, just work your way up.........maybe some nerfs, then a pipe, air filter, tires, etc... in any order you want.

Question 2: All companies do that. If you notice, most machines are 10-30cc's off of their displacement number in the name. Like the 250ex is 229, Rancher 329, 300ex is like 289 I think, etc etc... Basically the companies just round it up to a bigger more solid number that sounds alot better. I mean, you wouldnt wanna go round sayin I own a 229EX, 329 Rancer, or 289EX.

Hope that helped ya out.
