ims heel guards

i mounted a set of heel guards today and was wondering haw many bolts to use on the left upper mount do you use just one or two because my second bolt wont fit through the groove that is milled in the upper mount of the heel guards is not big enoughy by about 3/4 of a hole to fit the upper bolt on that mount.

When I put my IMS heel guards on, I first just fastened the guard to the footpeg loosely, then loosely fastened the footpeg to the frame. Attached the upper mount, yes, once again loosely to the fender mount, then tighened everything up starting w/ the footpegs. Perfect fit.
