View Full Version : Ugly warning stickers

i just bought my 02 400EX 5/31/02,,,what does everyone do with those 'warning' stickers/plates that are all over the quad,,,do you just take them off and live with the rivet holes?,,,thanks

There are several options:
1. Drill out the rivets and flip them over and polish the backside of the plate.
2. There are some replacement polished aluminum plates on ebay that have 400ex carved into them.
3. Flip the plates over and paint them the color of your choice.
4. Find or have a sign or decal shop make decals that cover the labels.
5. Leave them of and deal with the holes / fill the holes with some hot melted plastic or other substance.
6. Shave your front fenders. (Doesn't get rid of all of them but the front ones I think are the most noticeable)

That's all I can think of right now. Hope it helps.

chop you fenders off. i have found i ride better and it looks a h*ll of a lot better!!
