square, hex, or slot jet? big or small?

whitch one is on the 400ex? square, hex, or slot jet? big or small? these are the questions the guy asked on the phone when I wanted to get a couple extra jets. I dont wanna pull apart my carb and take the jet across town just to have the guy order some. Please help.

you need a "long" hex jet for a Keihin carb. The jet can be removed and replaced with a 6mm socket in a jiffy. Also, you dont have to take the carb out to do it. Just take off the seat and airbox + turn the carb to the side. Sometimes when you take the old jet out the metering rod will come out with it. No big deal. Just separate the jet, put the new on on the rod and screw it back into place.
