Can anyone tell me the benefits of carb boring, I see that CT racing offer boring of the carb? It is the stock 400EX carb. Thanks!

ive been wandering about this too, i think its just like getting a bigger carb ( like form a 36 to a 38mm ) how much does it cost

I don't know, but the 04 and 05 400s have 38mm carbs, as opposed to the 36 mm on the 03 and earlier.

I emailed CT, they said they do not bore the stock carb for the 400, but it was $45.
