86 250r motor in 2001 400ex

Has anyone here put a 250r motor in a 400ex? Or does anyone know if there is kit i could buy for the mounting part. If anyone has any thought or infor on this please help thanks.

yes you can.i think a couple of months ago they had adam sick in dirtwheels mag and he had a 400 and 250r engines for the same frame.it was changable.i think one company is supposed to make motor mounts for the change.
