I found a good deal on a CRF front break cylinder, will this work on my 250r?

This is something you'll have to try for yourself, may not be enough volume for the brake system. I know a rear from a newer CR with the built-in reservoir was tried at Fischer Cycle on one of his custom built quads and they couldn't get it to work.

Thanks for the help, I made sure it was from the bigger 450 bike, so I guess this is an experiment I will let yall know, I mean for 20 bucks it was worth trying because its like new.

Any other ideas on a larger(volume) rear master cylinder? On my 400ex I have my original linked into run my front brakes. But even with an adjustable proportioning valve it still gives to much pressure up front even turned all the way to the least. Maybe my original question is not right but I think you get the idea. My brakes work good on concrete(stops great and quick), but on dirt it is alittle different.

This guy used a CRF450 front caliper on his rear. Some company like Dream Works makes the caliper bracket.

I have a TRX450R front master cylinder on mine and I have had no problems. Best part is that from the dealer they are fairly inexpensive.
