Is there anything I can do to run with a Craptor?

My friend just got a 05 Craptor and I haven't rode with him yet but when I do I don't want to get blown out of the water that bad.

I am a little be of a better rider than him but is there anything I can do to run with him on the stright away. (With my tires and experience with my 400 I can own him through the corners.)

426 or 440, port and polish, full pipe, filter, h-d rod, cam, oversized valves, 5 angle valve job, etc....theres tons u can do...just depends on how much you are willing to spend.

What I realy mean is just cheap things to make him think that his machine is slow

slash his tires and you're guaranteed to be riding faster then him

660cc is hard to compete with in the wide open, go ride with him and let us know the results ! I bet someone on hear can come up with something:D

drop a tooth on counter sprocket it should only cost you about 12 bucks and as long as the straight isn't long enough for him to get into fourth you should tear him up if he is stock.

I take my buddies mildly modded raptor (full pipe, filter, hotcam, etc...) by 1-2 bike lengths every time

I ride with 5 different ppl that all have raptors

One if so screwed up mine actually beats it down the road!

3 of them i kill them everywhere but the road, always waiting for them on the trails

1 kid does monster hills i dont even think about doing i tell him hes nuts but he doesnt do half the jumps i do cuz his back end is always kicking out he says im nuts lol

race through the woods and around alot of corners where you need to slide the bike.

my dad has an 05 raptor, its fast but if you race through the woods or around corners then its not even a contest. half the time we ride, i have to stop and wait.

well if you want to make him look bad let him beat you on the one or two straigh aways you find then you will be able to rape him for the other 95% of the time you are riding in the trails, especially if you are a better rider than him anyways
