i was at one of the local shops today and they had a 2000 or 01, yz250f there for sale. only wanted 2500 for it. didnt look to be raced, looked in pretty good shape...a few rusty nuts and bolts, the boot rub wasnt bad anywhere....had a dent in the silencer...it was ridden but looked decent. what ya'll think? i thought they went for more than 2500.....

the dent is in teh silencer from the factory... no big deal...


the 2001 had problems starting... they are a pain in the butt with the decompression lever and stuff...

not sure about 01's,but my 02 starts 1st or 2nd kick- hot or cold.you just have to know how to kick 4 strokes.

the dent is in the middle...its about 2-3 inches long so more than likely where it came from. yea it musta been an 01 then...the tag wasnt too clear. thanks for the response, i thought it was too cheap for one...ive never seen one that cheap
