how much hp do u think this will make.


There is about 5 minutes of idle and ride time on the motor, which is .040 over w/ New Vitos PowerPistons. Stock stroke.__Head_is ProDesign w/ 18cc Domes._ Single Carb Kit- 34mm Keihin_PJ Carb._ LRD adjustable Pipes, with LRD Silencers.

The factory really clogs up a banshee's potential just taking off the restrictions and crap from the factory will give it more power but stock they aren't that fast.

well it wont meet your needs stock, but with just pipes, filters and removing the restrictions it will

somewhere in the high 40's. in order to really utilize your bore and pistons, you definetely need a port and polish job.... you need one BAD! it should bump you up atleast 10 hp.. The stock exhaust ports on a banshee are disgusting! you also need some reeds too man.

Without porting, I think high 40's is optimistic, probably more like low 40's.

u ppl need to chill, if you look at who started this thread(nick110) then look at his signature, then look at mine, hmm dont they look similiar. maybe cuz were brothers, and the quad is both of ours. and yes the banshee is a peice of ****, and no it would never beat any 450 thats out there.

You can't even count that thing that is useless unless your going in a straight line. I'ed like to see that thing on a trail. With asmuch money that is in that thing you could make a 450R kill it. That isn't even a banshee motor in it.

banshee's are chit on the mx track. There used to be a kid who raced one in d4 last year and he said it was the stupidest buy he had ever made! Now if you put a banshee in an r fame, and create a honshee like my friend aaron reisig did...Now ur talkin'! Well unless your racing a quad with a ktm engine in it..cause then your screwed!

There was no more angst in my post than there was in your, banshees are gay, post.

And, I did say because banshees beat you in a "drag race". Thus, I was in fact indicating a straight line. A decently cared for banshee will always beat a 450r with the same amount of mods in a straight line drag race. Get a few corners or jumps in there.. and you are correct, the 450r would win.. but the banshees were made for the dunes and the 450r was made for the woods/MX.

As you pointed out, that is not a banshee engine, so let's throw out that particular example and concentrate on the 450 and banshee motors.

Banshee motors can easily achieve 100hp and higher. I don't care how much money you throw at it, there is NO way you're going to get a 450 into 100hp without a turbo or NOS.
