I heard that you are not able to becuase of the way the balljoints are on them. Has anybody done this?

Im pretty sure you can't because the ball joints are made into the a-arm. So when you put the a-arm in the oven it will melt the rubber around the ball joint.

i think there's a way, i've seen people spray paint them before but maybe they just covered the ball joints, i'll ask my friend who spray painted his what he did and get back to you on that

your signature is awesome. I don't give two flying farts about the whales. They just shut down a whole trail system where I live for some stupid creek mussels.

Yes, the ball joints are not easily removeable from the arms on a 400. You can take them out if you beat the chit outta them, but it won't seem worth it.

I spray painted my stock arms back in the day and they held up fairly well, but looked chitty after awhile. :ermm:

Getting aftermarket pc'ed arms is the only way to go you'll soon realize.;)

you can cut the rubber boots off the balljoints and have your a-arms powder coated, then repack with grease and put an aftermarket boot on. A guy I ride with did this and got some rubber boots from a local auto/parts store and put them on and then held them on with mechanics/wire like some people hold their grips on with. Good luck

The rubber boots on the stock a arms come off without cutting them. Atleast mine did.
