the kill switch must have 2 internal wires to work as a start switch. We use a kx killswitch.

I used a cr killswitch. great mod.

I run the CR kill switch too and it works fine...although I found out that I had to put a piece of electrical tape on the handlebar that the switch goes over because it was shorting itself out.:p

you can use the cr style but you will have to tape the bars and when riding in wet conditions it will still shock you that is why we use the kx style because it has a sealed normally open internal switch.

what all wires do you splice it to. And once i do that, what do i do with the reverse. IVe been reading those other ones so dont tel me to search. They dont really explain it that good and ive heard a few bad things about that. So i may take the reverse off.
