View Full Version : anyone use stock 300 shocks on track?

well the title pretty much says it all but im startin to race and wanted to no if its a hard ride be cuase i most def don't hav the money for works or any thing like that!...and i herd blaster fronts will fit a 300??? do they work or to much cutting and "trimming". Or is the ride to rough eaither way?

well,if you want to do anything bigger then 15 feet without the fearof breaking something on the quad or yourself,id invest in new shocks

you should be fine for a while. Ive got a 400EX/250R shock mount kit and 250R shocks im needin to sell. let me know what you think.

you you want to race and take larger jumps and be fast, you will deffinitly need new shocks,

if you just put around and jump small tables and stuff, then stockers will be alright.

stock shocks will be ok to start out on, but you will find there limits quickly

I snapped a stocker on a 15 foot jump where I was only 2 or 3 feet in the air. I just landed wrong and there it went. Better start saving for some works. Also, dont go for the conversion mount, it may feel better at first but its not good for the front end.
