those don't have rezzies and arent for racing especially for 2 hour xc racing and they cost $450 new the works are good price for triple rates with rezzies and they are brand new and shipping is free

not a bad deal for the shocks..

id say the rear will suffice short term, but look to get it rebuilt or replaced..
feel the reserviour after some hard riding to see how hot it gets..

rebuildin a shock is pretty much like buying a new one you send it to a shop that rebilds shocks they take it apart and set it up for your weight and type of riding/racing you do and put springs on and you can get dual rate or tripple rate or even single rate what ever you want I am getting mine rebuilt for a 160 pound rider and cross country racing

in the context of this thread..
if it were a stock rear shock, it would be to advance it so that its hopefully equivelant in performance to the aftermarket front shocks..

things like.. going from a single rate to a dual rate spring and/or enhancing the valving to affect compression and rebound..
all to finely tune the suspension to your particular weight, riding syle and model of quad.

im sure some of the others here can give more detail but that seems to be the "jist" of it..

Wait I'm not sure you can get tripple rate on the rear but dual rate is the most common
