Does anyone have any pics of the Pro-Armor race peg nerfs on a 450R? Any help is appreciated.

this is the only trouble i had with the nerfs. i like to jump and you prolly do to. since the propegs lower the peg about an inch, with stock travel they will hit the ground on big jumps. mine broke, i had it welded and then it broke again. Look for a thread as soon as i get my camera back to see what i did to fix this problem. I can tell you they will never break again now.

You might have your mounts mounted upside down? The mounts suppose to be on top and not at the bottom I believe.
Here's a pic of mine.

the mounts work both ways depending on how tall u are. I raced the set for a wile and botemed out alot but never had the pegs drag. u must of hit a rock when u landed.

Thanks for the pics! I think I'm gonna try a set out. If I don't like them, nerfs usually don't last me too long with 40 some people in my row at the GNCC's.:p

Actually,
You do have the mount upside down. There is a "left" and a "right" side mount. They are not marked at all, but the clear indicator is that the bolt hole is supposed to be perpendicular to the ground (see picture, and you can put them on backwards with effort, but no, they were not built to be put on "backwards" for taller people....it was not Pro-Armor's intention (since then the nerfs would be lower than the frame).
If you have them on wrong, the bolt hole is tilted slightly forward, and it is a real bear trying to "force" the propeg to line up at the A-Arm bolt.
I have had mine for a couple of months now, and I am very satisfied with them. I have a full review and installation tips in the works, with all the pictures (coming soon).
Highly recommended!

Actually, I had AC Propegs on order, for 3 months (Backorder). I am glad I did not purchase them, because after more review, I found that the Heel gaurd on the AC's came up short.
That was a big concern for me for any Pro-pegs with a built in heel gaurd. I tried to do as much visual research on the Por-Armors as possible, and from what I could tell, the geometry put the Heel Guard further back and provided more heel room than the AC's.
So I decided to buy them (Took only 3 days from RMATV).
Sure enough, the research pulled through, and I have PLENTY of room, and I'm a BIG TIME jumper (I just love to catch air). I wear a size 11.

it looks liek it, but ac fixed the pro peg problem, I wear size 13 a-star vectors and have plenty of room with mine, no problems.

That's cool. At least they got the drift. Too bad for all of the people who ordered and got the earlier version ( which is what I had on order).
I had AC Propegs on my 400EX, and did not have any compliants about them either.
But I do like the fit and finish of the Pro-Armors...
Good luck with your Hunt!

i have tried to mount them with the mount the way you have them pepto biz. the problem is where they go onto the a-arm bolts. mine will not line up right, nor will the even fit in the put the bolt through. i'm sure you know what i'm talking about. besides, the way i have them now, they are 1" lower than stock and are a whole lot more comfortable.
