mounting carbon hood

i have stock plastics on my quad now and i was wondering if anyone cut the stock plastics where the lights are and mounted a hood on it.my stock plastics

hood i want to mount is a carbon fiber hood kinda like the quad-tech.any pics would be awsome.thanks....Paul

hey insane, check the FAQ section. Rico has instructions posted on how to install it. I think all you have to do that is take the headlights off, cut the bracket off, sand it down so its smooth with the fender, and drill holes and bolt it on. Rico cut his fenders straight down the middle though...

I think 400ex28 has a Maier hood scoop ($55 bucks compared to over $100 from Quadtech, and I think the Maier looks better actually.)
