HMF Spark Arrestor?

Anyone have one that I can buy from them. When I bought my HMF, I bought the quiet core too, but it came with no spark arrestor?? I don't want to be caught without on in the woods either.

Yeah, the little screen at the end of the quiet core is the spark arrestor :)

The screen at the end of mine has like 1/8 inch holes in it. I'm talking about the spark arrestor that is seperate from it. I must have an older modle too if the new ones have a s/a screen on them. I bought mine in july of last year.

well Here is a pick of one taken apart but if you can visualize the screen looking piece on top of the other piece it is the quietcore/sparkarrestor but if you need a picture of a brand new one i can go out tomarrow and take a pic of mine and post it, i looked for like a half an hour on the net for a pic of one and cant find it anywhere lol.:macho

Goto Walmart and walk through the household items isle. Look for a mini food strainer. It is about 3" in diameter and has a handle attached and cost about $1.97. Buy it and cut the stainless steel screen from it and sandwich it between the can and end cap. Your done!
