View Full Version : How to keep from tearing up the quad on jumps

How do you guys keep from tearing up your quads jumping 40-90ft jumps? i see all of these pictures, and i cant imagine how they hold up...

Do you go thru a lot of different suspension? tie rods?

i dont get it.. lol

just started riding on the MX tracks but as far as i can tell as long as you hit the jumps smooth with decent suspension it doesn't put much strain on the shocks and arms, that is what there designed for. its when you case it or land hard or croked that you run the risk of something snapping off. all three shocks were designed to take the shock together not all on one side.

yea if the jumps are nice and u don't **** up and land on the landing right sometimes the suspension will barely squat.


Tht ain't the case for me very much tho, I havn't broken to many parts either but it has cauzed some wear and tear.

Hondas are built friggen tough tho

It really depends on the jump..I've seen people flip OTB's on 10 foot jumps, then others go 130 foot like there's no big deal
