Elka dune Edition Shocks

Hi all,

I'm looking at purchasing a complete Elka Dune Edition shock set for my 400EX. (Check my sig for the other mods to my bike). Has anyone else had experience with these shocks? I know the Elka name, and their reputation is outstanding, but since this is a new product, I wanted to get some feedback.

Any comments are appreciated.

Its not really a new product, its the same shocks with special valving and spring rates for the sand.

Thats right...it's just the E36 shock valved for sand. I just put a set on the front of my 400ex. I can't believe the difference. I'm trying to rake up the cash to get the dual rate rear. I found one new for $790.00. I'm trying to find the Elka linkage at a decent price....anyone seen them cheap anywhere?

They have much experience with desert racing. They are selling shocks now but will have everything available in September.
