If you have an extended swingarm, can you please chime in and let me know what chain (brand model) you're running (number of links).

Standard (stock) sprockets.

Let me know. Thanks!

I am Running a Burgard +1. I don't know how many links, I just got another chain and cut where it looked good. I am running one sproket size down in the front and stock size in the back.
I run the Elka rear shock with their first generation link.

I really like the set up. When it c omes to tightening the chain is when I have my only complaint. One burgards swingarm, it can really be a pain to get sockets and wrenches around. Don't know if you can see it here or not.

here's mine. Shane my buddy here (tamhart) hooked me up with this swingmarm. it's a Janssen +1.25". i love it. it weighs about just as much or maybe a few ounces more than the stock swinger but i think it's about invinsible. the traction is perfect. i get perfect starts all the time, awesome traction in the corners, i love it. i run the stock carrier, i just rebuilt it. i think retail is around $650. i don't have a close up pic of it.

I have a jb +1 1/4". I believe it has around 98-100 links. Can't remember exactly. I just got a 104 link chain from Rocky Mountain Atv. No real need to spend extra money on worthless links.

i have a walsh +1.25 with a rk 520mx3 chain, i too think it was like 96-98links, but i too like several bought 120 link chain and cut it down to what i needed,

i am on travel right now and if you cant wait til the end of the week, i still have the left over chain and will count how many links i cut for you.

if you dont want to wait and if you have a demel, grinder or chain break its a pretty easy job

i have cut o and x ring chains using the dremel and grinder, it will melt the rings exaclty where you are cutting (which you dont need) but does not effect any of the other rings

ya.... i like that swing arm design too, makes getting to the carrier zirk a lot easier.

on another note, for all the walsh swing arm owners, i talked to nate walsh about drilling a 5/8-3/4" hole in the swing arm carrier housing for getting to that zirk without tearing it apart, Nate said it would be fine with no integrity loss, i will fwd the e-mail if anyone is interested in doing this.
