I am taking a job in Columbus, Ohio and looking for some quad MX racing. I am in District 5 now, and they tell me Columbus is district 11 and they don't run quads. Someone please help, I am going to need to race when I get settled in Columbus. Thanks!!

I'm sure some of the D11 tracks allow quads.

Most of the Tracks are in the north/east part of the state in D12 or the CRA.

There is also Sunset Ramblers it is an outlaw track about 50 minutes north of columbus in Galion. Shouldnt be to far, But i'm not really up on mx in the southern part of the state.

Here is district 11 website

and here is District 12

Ohio also has a fair series and an indoor winter series that is done by District 11.

Here is the fair series website:

I don't know that much about the mx side for atv racing since I'm mostly into the harescrambles. I hope the above links help out.

There are roughly 100 district 11 motocross events that have quads a year. so who ever told you the part about D-11 not having quads is a bit off. I think you will find plenty of racing around!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Pickerington is a good choice if you want to race. A lot of the tracks are down 33 from columbus. Pickerington will put you on the right side of town. it you need to drive to work typical times both I70 and route 33 can be nightmares at those times.

Already checked out the AMA musuem while visiting Columbus before I decided to take the job. I will be working in Blacklick off Broad Street so the Reynoldsburg Pickerington area is pretty close. I will be in corporate housing until my house in Pittsburgh sells and I can buy one in Columbus. Check out my 04 450R I will be racing:

That's were I work the past 2 years before they close are office and move to Dallas/ Fort Forth Texas area. I used to work right off Broad Street on the corner of Taylor and Taylor Station in one of the office buildings. Not a bad area to work, plenty of places to eat at for lunch. Pickerington wouldn't be that bad of a drive. Goodluck and hope everthing works out.
