sparks ingition

i was looking at the selection of parts that curtis sparks offers and i found that they have an "ignition advance key" to replace the stock woodruff key i guess that it advances the timing and according to them its a "must have item" even though i dont know a single person who has one, can someone check this out and let me know what they think

i bought one with intentions of putting on. but as an air cooled engine that runs extremely hot as it is (anywhere from 250-275 degrees) i decided not to put it on because it will make it run even hotter. when i emailed sparks they told me with my mods itd be a good idea to do an oil cooler upgrade.
