2001 Honda trx400ex with 2002 XR650L motor

Looks just like a 400ex until you start it. The ultimte sleeper.
Great on trails or dunes. It is fast.

Motor had 950 miles before put into Quad frame
I have dozens of pitures of what I did.
Frame, rims, a-arms, everything is POWDERCOATED
Stage1 Hotcam
Choice of rear tires, front tires: holeshots
Renthal bars
Aluminium Skid plate
DG nerf bars
new plastic
Stock shocks
Modified 400ex exhaust
Extra bars, rear plastic, skid plates, wiring diagram, sprockets
Always kept in showroom condition

I have ridden this quad every weekend since I built it. Nothing has gone wrong with it. It is a Honda 400ex with the most reliable honda motor made: XR650L

so whats the horsepower of the 650 motor, how does it do compared to a 450?

The HP is close.
Everytime I drag race a 450, I smoke them until my quad tops out. The 450 tops out like 1 mph faster than this quad.
I left the gearing alone because it is so sweet on the trails, the low end is phenominal
