I am going to be purchasing a 450R soon and i was wondering if the HRC kit is really worth the extra $200? Does it make a difference between 2 stock bikes or is it basically the same? i was just wondering. Thanks

In my opinon is the best thing you can spend money on, night and day difference, it will feel like a different bike.

how much they charging you for it, IMO its not the best you would be better off with just buying the lid flap, making your our lid, a hi-flow filter, a good full system pipe, and a stage 2 hotcam, or even a 02 crf cam would be better for all arround power. However I have heard the hrc cam and the Dr. D slip on has good gains all arround.
If you buy the HRC kit and the dealer installs it...is your warranty still good?

Yes it is and price range is way different from dealer to dealer, I would look at somewhere from 500-600 range for kit and install, but hopefully your dealers don't have such a high labor rate, like $68 per hour.
